Selena Gomez has said she'd love to play Charlotte York in a SATC prequel.
The Wizards Of Waverly Place star is reportedly the frontrunner to play
the wealthy New Yorker in the third film in the franchise - and Selena
admitted she was taken aback by the rumours.
"I was as surprised as everyone else. I was like 'Oh, didn't know I was
playing that.' It was a rumour. But it would be awesome," she revealed.
"It's more my mum's show. Whenever it first came out I wasn't allowed to
watch it because I was really young. But no, it would be an honour."
The fashion-conscious teen said the super-stylish clothes would be "the best part" if she did land the role.
"Whenever my mum watched the first movie she loved it and we watched the
second one and we loved it, I remember thinking (Charlotte's) just very
pretty and really funny."
The star, who was in London this week to celebrate the launch of Disney
Channel HD, said she was emotional when filming wrapped on her fourth
and final series of Wizards Of Waverly Place.
"It was really emotional, I remember the morning of the last day we were
shooting I walked into hair and make-up and I immediately started
crying because I knew that that was the last morning I was going to walk
up those stairs and get into my chair," she said.
"It was a very emotional all day. We tried to be very happy and positive
and make everybody laugh and at the last thing I just lost it and
cried."
سيلنا متفاجئه بخصووص انها اكثر ممثله مرشحه لدور شارلوت و اعترفت انها
تفاجئت من الخبرر و قالت انها تفاجئت مثل الكل عن الخبر و قالت انه راح
يكون شيء حلو لو تلعب الدور و تقول انه اول مره ينزل فيها الفيلم ماقدرت
تشوفوه لانها كانت صغيره واايد و قالت انها راح يكون لها الشرف لو تمثل
الدور و قالت انها شافت الثاني و تتذكر شارلوت بالجميله و المضحكه
